Quite overwhelming&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>See, if we decide to go along that path\u2026 This may end up being a proper apocalypse.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><b><i>Luckily, this isn\u2019t the first time we face such odds.\u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><b><i>And definitely not the first time we\u2019re gonna win.<\/i><\/b><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So, how do we do that?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It really is simple. It\u2019s what got us so far. <\/span><b>Keep your cool<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><b>Adapt.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But, what does home fitness have to do with that?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Well\u2026 Everything.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The correlation between improving physical condition and fighting disease have long been established, and physicians always encouraged staying physically active.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.holodia.com\/vr-fitness-blog\/how-daily-workouts-help-you-beat-stress-and-anxiety\/\"><b>physical exercise is also considered vital for maintaining mental fitness<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and it really plays a significant role in stress reduction.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Or as the Romans would say:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mens Sana In Corpore Sano<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Meaning, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;a healthy mind in a healthy body&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And here\u2019s the science behind this ancient wisdom \u2013 when stress affects the brain, with its many nerve connections, the rest of the body feels the impact as well. Or to put it as simple as possible &#8211;<\/span><b> if your body feels better, so does your mind<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Exercise and other physical activity produce <\/span><b>endorphins<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2014natural painkillers that also improve the ability to sleep, <\/span><b>which in turn reduces stress<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Scientists have found that regular participation in aerobic exercise has been shown to <\/span><b>decrease overall levels of tension, elevate and stabilize mood, improve sleep, and improve self-esteem<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Even five minutes of aerobic exercise can stimulate anti-anxiety effects.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Exactly what we need right now. Needless to say, in situations like these, the benefits of a simple exercise were never so important.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now, especially relevant with the Coronavirus around&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Here\u2019s what a simple 20 minute workout may do for you when it comes to fighting illness:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Physical activity may help <\/span><b>flush bacteria out of the lungs<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and airways. This may reduce your chance of getting a cold, flu, or other illness.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Exercise causes a <\/span><b>change in antibodies and white blood cells<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (WBC). WBCs are the body&#8217;s immune system cells that fight disease. These antibodies or WBCs circulate more rapidly, so they could detect illnesses earlier than they might have before.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The brief rise in body temperature during and right after exercise may <\/span><b>prevent bacteria from growing<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. This temperature rise may help the body fight infection better. Some stress increases the chance of illness. Lower stress hormones may protect against illness.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now, let\u2019s admit\u2026 You already knew most of these facts.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><strong>Yet, so many of us keep finding excuses to postpone \u201cthe healthy lifestyle\u201d, exercises and ironically, investing in ourselves.<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And then something hits us as hard as Corona did and we wish we could do all the things we can\u2019t now, locked up in our homes with nowhere to go.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Well, the good news is &#8211; <\/span><b>you really can exercise effectively at home<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. You can, and you should.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><b>And you should start now<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
