Welcome to the Department of HOLOfitness and Research of Motivational Activities, where our bravest explorers risk frostbite in the Forbidden Sector to answer the ultimate question of fitness. Their conclusion? Antarctica is stunning, mysterious, and full of surprises.<\/span><\/p>\n

Work out surrounded by towering glaciers, icy tunnels, and a vast frozen landscape brought to life with new details and hidden gems. Look up and you might catch the Aurora Borealis dancing across the sky. Keep your eyes open for shipwrecks (some a little too modern), fossils lurking in the ice, and even the occasional anomaly\u2014like polar bears who\u2019ve somehow found a way to travel between worlds.<\/span><\/p>\n

Of course, Antarctica\u2019s wildlife is as lively as ever: emperor and Ad\u00e9lie penguins, countless seabirds (watch your sandwich, the seagulls are relentless!), playful seals, and orcas patrolling the waters\u2014closely monitored by our friendly Underwater monster. Snowy Mountains<\/span><\/h3>\n

A timeless fan favorite, Snowy Mountains is one of our oldest and most beloved HOLOworlds. Holofitters describe it as an eternal winter wonderland where every workout feels like a pre-Christmas getaway. Picture yourself gliding across an ice-covered lake, wandering through a magical evergreen forest, and passing through a cozy alpine village with smoke curling from cabin chimneys.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our very first HOLOworld ever created, Tropical, has long been a fan favorite, and now it\u2019s even more breathtaking after its remaster. Imagine shipwrecking on a remote, uncharted tropical island. At first, it seems peaceful and uninhabited, just you, the calming waters, and a paradise of lush flora. But as you explore, the island comes alive with bustling wildlife, playful pink flamingos, mischievous monkeys, and crocodiles lurking in the shadows.<\/span><\/p>\n

The genius island inhabitants have found ways to coexist with the island\u2019s more dangerous creatures, even the fierce hippos, who glide through the water like giant aquatic ballerinas. Dive into Underwater, a HOLOworld that gives serious Atlantis vibes. Explore sunken ships, remnants of a once-glorious underwater city, vibrant coral fields, and even an underwater volcano, all teeming with life. Swim alongside majestic whales as they communicate through hauntingly beautiful songs, glide with playful orcas, and encounter a variety of underwater creatures\u2014most friendly, some a little surprising.<\/span><\/p>\n

For the ultimate adventure, we highly recommend trying Race Mode, where your opponents are other divers riding dolphins, making every session a thrilling underwater challenge. Keep your wits about you, as some fish may give you a little jump scare, but that glowing lamp on their head is just their way of saying hello.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fantasy realms<\/h2>\n

Aurvangar<\/span><\/h3>\n

A perfect blend of fantasy, nature, and adventure, Aurvangar is a sequel to the Troglodyte HOLOworld and takes inspiration from Nordic mythology to deliver a truly magical experience. In Old Norse, Aurvangar means the gravelly wetlands, once home to a legendary group of dwarves. According to myth, the world was formed from the giant Ymir, and four dwarves were sent to the corners of the earth to hold up the sky. Known as master craftsmen, these dwarves created magical treasures for the Norse gods, from Odin\u2019s spear Gungnir to Thor\u2019s hammer Mj\u00f6llnir, the boar Gullinbursti, and the ship Sk\u00ed\u00f0bla\u00f0nir.<\/span><\/p>\n

Begin your journey at the harbor at the foot of the mountain and venture through the abandoned dwarf city, guarded by watchful statues of its former inhabitants. Marvel at the halls overflowing with gold and silver, but tread carefully\u2014you never know what creatures might still roam, some obsessed with shiny treasures and fiercely territorial. Nihon<\/span><\/h3>\n

Welcome to Nihon, a world shrouded in mystery. This Far East environment enchants with its stunning flora and fauna, cloaked in a purply mist that transforms every workout into a magical exploration. Unlike any other HOLOworld, Nihon introduces unique gameplay, with a rich backstory that only the most devoted HOLOfitters will uncover.<\/span><\/p>\n

Journey across misty lakes and divided lands, where two Human clans\u2014the Aka-gumi and Ao-gumi\u2014struggle to preserve the ancient magic of their world. Explore villages, dojos that once trained heroic samurai, and uncover legendary artifacts such as the Spear of Discord, sacred omens like Daruma and Jizo statues, and even a real-life homage to the Holodia CEO, the Medal Order of the Sacred Treasure Star. Keep your eyes open, as small details may reveal vital clues, and lucky explorers might catch a glimpse of the elusive Spirit Donkey.<\/span><\/p>\n

Saturn<\/span><\/h3>\n

When Earth feels too small, it\u2019s time to launch into the unknown. Strap on your headset, secure your fitness ride, and blast off for deep space exploration around the mighty Ringed Planet. Once observed only through telescopes, Saturn is now within reach thanks to HOLOFIT.<\/span><\/p>\n

Navigate through asteroid fields and glide past glowing rings of cosmic dust, each workout a journey between futuristic space stations and interstellar wonders. Along the way, you\u2019ll encounter floating treasures (because even in space, one person\u2019s garbage is another\u2019s gold), and stare into the dizzying abyss of a black hole\u2014from a not-so-safe distance, of course.<\/span><\/p>\n

Troglodyte<\/span><\/h3>\n

Step through the mine shaft door and descend into the mysterious Troglodyte, the underground heart of the dwarf kingdom and the prequel to Aurvangar. Explore glowing Fungi Caves and dazzling Crystal Chambers while encountering strange and magical creatures that thrive in the dark.<\/span><\/p>\n

The dwarves are hard at work, crafting and inventing in their subterranean halls. They\u2019ll need your help collecting scattered parts to assemble a towering mechanical robot. But watch your step: not every inhabitant of Troglodyte is welcoming. Some creatures, like the anxious tortoises with a tendency to\u2026 explode when startled, can send you right back to the start of your path. Don\u2019t worry, they\u2019re harmless in the end, but they do test your speed and timing.<\/span><\/p>\n

Troglodyte reveals the industrious side of the dwarf world, while Aurvangar shows its abandoned grandeur. Together, the two environments hint at deeper mysteries in the HOLOuniverse, where every realm connects to the next.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\"\"<\/span>

Time-Traveling Adventures<\/span><\/h2>\n

Babylon<\/span><\/h3>\n

The remastered<\/span> Babylon<\/span><\/a> is one of HOLOFIT\u2019s most beloved HOLOworlds, now transformed into something spectacular. Step through the monumental Ishtar Gate, its dazzling blue and gold tiles gleaming, and enter the bustling heart of ancient Mesopotamia.<\/span><\/p>\n

The streets of Mushkenum City unfold with jugglers, poets, and merchants selling unusual wares. Explore further and you may stumble across hidden party tunnels where the music never stops, nor do the shocking encounters..<\/span><\/p>\n

Beyond the walls, the<\/span> farmlands<\/span><\/a> spread wide. Shepherds battle to control rioting sheep who\u2019ve formed a \u201cBleat Union\u201d after a broken fence, while gossiping priestess Talia hints that it might all be your fault. Along the sparkling canals, your HOLOship glides past treasures and a secret fishing mini-game. Master its final wave and you may awaken a creature from ancient legend. A magnificent temple rises nearby, leading you back through the city and up the steps of the grand Ziggurat, where a lamassu deity keeps watch.<\/span><\/p>\n

Turn left at the Ishtar Gate and you\u2019ll find the<\/span> Hanging Gardens<\/span><\/a>, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, blooming with life. Just past them, the thunder of chariots fills the arena, while Babylonian armies train with questionable aim\u2014you\u2019ll want to duck.<\/span><\/p>\n

Everywhere you turn, Babylon is alive with quirks: elephant taxis charging down the road, donkeys tying themselves into traffic jams, and perhaps even a familiar grandma waving at you from a camel\u2019s back.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\"\"<\/span>

Canyon<\/span><\/h3>\n

The Canyon Remaster has quickly become one of the most adventurous worlds in HOLOFIT, taking you on a journey through the untamed Wild West. In<\/span> Part 1 of the remaster<\/span><\/a>, you set off along the riverbanks into a land of bustling frontier towns, daring train heists, and ghostly encounters. One moment you\u2019re racing alongside a bison stampede or a giant frog, and the next you\u2019re weaving through canyon-top rollercoasters and mysterious ghost towns. With cinematic detail and non-stop action, this chapter makes you forget you\u2019re working out while keeping your heart rate soaring.<\/span><\/p>\n

Part 2<\/span><\/a> expands the world even further, branching into new terrain filled with mysteries and hidden wonders. From plunging behind a roaring waterfall into a glowing cave of alien pictographs and eerie relics, to rowing past the riverside Native Village. And just when you think you\u2019ve seen it all, the Abandoned Mine waits\u2014a haunting landmark where echoes of the lost Donkey civilization remind you that the Canyon is full of secrets yet to uncover.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cyberpunk<\/span><\/h3>\n

Explore this dystopian world and relive the excitement of Blade Runner, all while getting fit.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step into a neon-soaked dystopia, where the crowded Underworld hums with life. Flying cars zip above and around you, and robots of every shape and size patrol the streets, from tiny helpers to towering giants. Your goal is to reach the High World, but first you\u2019ll need to charge your way through\u2014a massive platform awaits, where only by pushing your speed to the limit can you fill the battery and be catapulted upward.<\/span><\/p>\n

Above, the High World reveals a surreal mix of future and past: lush flora preserved in glass domes, elephants wandering in solitude, and echoes of a world long gone. Stay alert though\u2014some plants, like the towering Venus flytraps, have evolved far hungrier appetites.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\"\"<\/span>

Primordia<\/span><\/h3>\n

With the discovery of Primordia, our 19th HOLOworld, we don\u2019t just open a new map, but a portal to the beginning of everything.<\/p>\n

Buried deep beneath the surface lies a prehistoric realm. A place untouched by modern times. A world of towering ferns, tangled jungle paths, restless volcanoes, and creatures long thought extinct.<\/p>\n

And for the first time in HOLOFIT history, you\u2019re not imagining dinosaurs from a safe distance or seeing them preserved in ice somewhere in Antarctica (sorry if this was a spoiler).<\/p>\n

You are training beside them!<\/p>\n

Chapter 1<\/a> is out now, and two more chapters will unfold, expanding this HOLOworld far beyond its current boundaries. When complete, Primordia is planned to stretch to around 9km of rideable, explorable terrain.<\/p>\n<\/div>\"\"<\/span>

Real Sport Events<\/span><\/h2>\n

Aiguebelette<\/span><\/h3>\n

In 2015, the HOLODIA team was at Lac d\u2019Aiguebelette, France, attending the World Rowing Championship. We got so inspired by the competition and the lake itself, that we had to recreate it in VR!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Now, you have the chance to experience this amazing environment from the comfort of your home! We wanted to stay true to the original, so we didn\u2019t add any additional animations. Enjoy your workout while rowing or pedaling across the shiny water, surrounded by impressive mountains!<\/span><\/p>\n

You might notice a difference when it comes to the boat’s direction when rowing. In environments like this, which are sport-focused and competitive, the boat goes backward, as it would in real life. However, in other exploration-focused environments, we opted for the boat to go forward, in order to provide the best possible experience!<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\"\"<\/span>

Cambridge<\/span><\/h3>\n

The Cambridge environment, similar to Aiguebelette, became part of HOLOFIT because of a rowing race. The one in question is the annual University Boat Race between the Cambridge University Boat Club and Oxford University Boat Club.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our Cambridge is inspired by the river Thames, on which the actual race takes place, as well as the two universities. The environment features a stunning sunset with Cappadocia-inspired hot air balloons, cute ducks, famous aesthetic with numerous bridges, and double-decker buses rushing on the river banks.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\"\"<\/span>

Grand Sablon<\/span><\/h3>\n

Inspired by Indiana Jones` ideology of getting out of the library, we have this to say:\u00a0 If you want to build endurance, train in the Desert.<\/span><\/p>\n

The environment is based on the longest foot race on Earth, an ultramarathon through the Sahara desert, lasting approximately 6 days \u2013 251km (156 mi). HOLOFIT`s Grand Sablon is currently 17km (10+ mi) long, but will soon become a true half-marathon!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Together with other racers, explore the vast and illusive sand dunes, lush oases, strange archeological sites, and history-inspired landmarks like the Egyptian pyramids and the Sphinx. Watch as day turns into night and the Moon and constellations take over the scenery. Pay special attention to the constellations, do you recognize any of them?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Did you know? The Marathon des Sables was the brainchild of French concert promoter Patrick Bauer who in 1984 traversed the Sahara desert on foot and alone. He covered 350 km (214 mi) in 12 days without encountering a single oasis or desert community along the way.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\"\"<\/span>

San Francisco<\/span><\/h3>\n

San Francisco takes you straight onto one of the most recognizable landmarks in the world, the Golden Gate Bridge. The road ahead may look simple, but this HOLOworld is anything but predictable. During your run, cycle, or row across the bridge, the city around you comes alive with chaos, color, and pure adrenaline. One moment you might witness alien cow-ductions, the next a flock of vultures sweeps past, only to be followed by joyful fanfare sheep celebrating your success. Wild cars rush by at breakneck speed, adding even more intensity to your race. And for those with sharp eyes and quick reflexes, a hidden golden Easter egg unlocks a surprise worthy of Hollywood itself: an iconic creature known for leaving its mark on the big screen.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\"\"<\/span>

Iconic Cities<\/span><\/h2>\n

NYC Invasion<\/span><\/h3>\n

The most gamified of all HOLOFIT environments, NYC Invasion throws you straight into a superhero adventure where fitness meets comic book chaos. What begins as a stroll through Battery Park quickly spirals into mayhem when Lady Liberty herself steps off her pedestal and marches toward Times Square. Portals rip open above the skyline, alien ships pour through, and the Evil Wizard Donkey unleashes his army of elemental minions. Suddenly, you\u2019re not just sightseeing\u2014you\u2019re a superhero on a mission to save the Big Apple.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alongside heroes Geraldine and Sylvain, you\u2019ll fight through cinematic battle zones where elemental donkeys test both your endurance and your wits. Use fire hydrants, vehicles, and street lamps to counter their powers, but watch out\u2014Wizard Donkey bends reality with looping time tricks, forcing you to relive encounters until you break free. From the crowded streets and iconic landmarks to the depths of the subway, every corner of NYC becomes a battleground as you pursue Donkey toward his Tesla Coil stronghold.<\/span><\/p>\n

This HOLOworld is brimming with playful details, from giant statue cameos to alien-powered Easter eggs, but at its core it\u2019s about teamwork, determination, and adrenaline-pumping fun. Collect all 25 trophies, survive the chaos, and you\u2019ll unlock a brand-new HOLOship worthy of any superhero. The fate of the city rests in your hands.<\/span><\/p>\n

Paris is the City of Light, Love, and delicious pastries! Jog, cycle, or run around iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Montmartre, and Arc de Triomphe, from dawn till dusk. Along the way, surprises await at the Louvre, unusual sightings fill the streets, and the surreal pink sunsets over the Seine will take your breath away. Say Bonjour to the friendly bypassers, and don\u2019t forget to dance along at a lively concert!<\/span><\/p>\n

Adding a touch of mischief, watch out for the notorious Parisian Granny. She has a habit of sneaking around various HOLOworlds, seemingly up to no good, always on the lookout for opportunities to swipe a trinket or two. Word has it, her sister resides in Venice\u2014equally formidable, but far less thieving, though she can be rather aggressive if you cross her path.<\/span><\/p>\n

Venice<\/span><\/h3>\n

Cool off in the splashing canals of Venice, the Floating City HOLOworld! Glide through iconic sights like the Rialto Bridge, Piazza San Marco, and the majestic Grand Canal. Immerse yourself in Venetian life, uncover hidden gems, and witness the historic graduation of Elena, the world\u2019s first female graduate.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meet the colorful Venetians who make this city come alive. Nonna Carmen, twin sister of the mischievous Parisian Granny Josephine, runs a bustling pasticceria while chasing down a wayward Giacomo Casanova impersonator. Fabio, a skilled gondolier, serenades you with operatic snippets and even teaches a bit of Italian. Chiara hunts a mysterious giant cat through the cat canals, while Gianni tends to flamboyant flamingos that row through the acqua alta. Meanwhile, Vincenzo Peruggia, inspired by his notorious namesake, teams up with a mischievous Donkey, forming the \u201cDynamic Duo of Venice\u201d in a series of clever escapades.<\/span><\/p>\n
