{"id":6540,"date":"2023-04-20T14:32:11","date_gmt":"2023-04-20T12:32:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.holodia.com\/?p=6540"},"modified":"2023-04-20T14:32:11","modified_gmt":"2023-04-20T12:32:11","slug":"holotips-how-to-monitor-your-progress-with-the-new-performance-mode","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.holodia.com\/fr\/vr-fitness-blog\/holotips-how-to-monitor-your-progress-with-the-new-performance-mode\/","title":{"rendered":"HOLOtips: How to Monitor Your Progress with the New Performance Mode"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As far as fitness is concerned, you\u2019ll find few things as motivating as seeing your progress, especially once the initial \u201choneymoon phase\u201d is over and it seems you\u2019ve plateaued.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In times like these, it\u2019s important that you \u201cmeasure\u201d your performance.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In that way, you\u2019ll be able to see the slightest improvements and ensure you keep trusting the process, and sticking to your routine, even if the naked eye says otherwise.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We thought about this when we designed HOLOFIT and came up with our Performance Mode (ex Time Attack), the perfect workout mode to monitor your progress and stay motivated.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Performance Mode does this by providing a variety of time intervals during which the user tries to go as far as possible. Once a distance record has been set for a time interval, the user gets to challenge their individual score to see if they\u2019ve improved or beat other users\u2019 results in competitive play.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Read on to find out how to best use it to maximize the effectiveness of your workouts.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Performance mode 101<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Performance mode is located in the <\/span><b>Train Menu<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can choose between seven-time intervals: <\/span><b>2min, 5min, 10min, 15min, 20min, 30min, and 60min.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Your records are tied to a specific sport<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. While rowing, you can only challenge your rowing best, while cycling you can only challenge your cycling best, etc. The same goes for fitness machines vs. Freestyle workouts.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Your top 3 records<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for each sport and interval are displayed in the left window.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can <\/span><b>compete<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> against the three community users closest to your best records. Here\u2019s a pro tip:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Choose one of the shorter time intervals to work on your sprints and explosivity, and choose one of the longer ones to work on your endurance &#8211; both are super important.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Set your records, and then check back in every two weeks or on a monthly basis. Spend at least 5-10 minutes doing some light cardio in Journey or Zen mode.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Focus on intensity: Performance mode is all about pushing yourself to the limit. To maximize the benefits of this mode, focus on increasing the intensity of your workout within each time interval. Try to maintain a consistent pace throughout each interval and push yourself harder during the last few seconds to improve your score.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cool down: Once you complete your workout, take at least 5-10 minutes to cool down and stretch your muscles. This will help reduce muscle soreness and prevent injuries.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Remember, the key to monitoring your progress is to track your performance over time, set realistic goals, and stay motivated.
