Woah\u2026 What a wild ride this year has been. Many challenges later, we\u2019re happy that we managed to make HOLOFIT even better this year \u2014 and we\u2019d love to thank you for your support. We couldn\u2019t have done it without you.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Next year, expect amazing updates. We\u2019re looking to make HOLOFIT the ultimate fitness companion and can\u2019t wait to present our development plans to you.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Before that happens, however, let\u2019s take a moment to reflect on everything we\u2019ve achieved last year, starting with the updates released this year.<\/span><\/p>\n

NYC Invasion: A Donkyfing HOLOFIT Adventure (Chapters II and III)<\/span><\/h2>\n

At the very start of the year, we released two final parts of the great story that is the NYC Invasion. In this HOLOworld, you take the role of the Superhero trying to save the fate of the city that hangs in the balance due to the attack of some really powerful features.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Going through the famous NYC streets, you\u2019ll run into two other Superheros battling the evil Wizard Donkey \u2013 but they need your help to defeat the time-twisting evil genius.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Did you manage to defeat it and save New York City?<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\"\"<\/span>

Seasonal Events: Spring, Summer, Halloween, Winter<\/span><\/h2>\n

This year, we continued our seasonal event tradition with Winter, Spring, Summer, and Halloween events.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We kicked off 2024 with the return of the penguin trophies, which when caught, unlocked a special HOLOship. For the Spring event, we hid special egg trophies around the HOLOworlds for which you could once again unlock a special HOLOship.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Then, the 2024 Summer Event brought the new Arch system. You were tasked with going through 17 coral arches scattered around our HOLOworlds, while the Halloween Event brought back the witches and cat trophies, along with great HOLOships and avatar items.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Visual & Performance Improvements for the Meta Quest 3 & Pro Headsets<\/span><\/h2>\n

With the release of the Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 3S, we were free to make additional visual and performance improvements in HOLOFIT that you loved.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We added some optimizations to each of our HOLOworlds that resulted in significant visual and performance improvements for the Meta Quest 3 and the Meta Quest Pro.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

More specifically, on the Quest 3 you saw significant visual improvements thanks to an increased refresh rate and a 25% increase in render scale. On the Quest Pro, the higher refresh rate should make your HOLOFIT experience smoother.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Guess What? A 2-Million Workout Milestone!<\/span><\/h2>\n

This June, we hit an incredible milestone \u2014 2 million workouts completed in HOLOFIT! Can we make it to 3 next year?<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\"\"<\/span>

Multiplayer Gets a Makeover<\/span><\/h2>\n

We didn\u2019t just remaster the Tropical multiplayer map \u2014 we introduced a new way of connecting and competing!<\/span><\/p>\n

With our private keys, you can now race your friends and fellow Holofitters by inviting them to your private room or joining theirs. Want to mix it up? Race in different sports, even if you Freestyle ski while your friend rows on a rowing machine. The choice is yours!<\/span><\/p>\n

Meet Robot Holly, Your Virtual Guide<\/span><\/h2>\n

Say hello to Holly, an especially Sass-y assistant to help you master HOLOFIT. Whether it\u2019s your first time in HOLOFIT or you need a refresher, Holly is here to help. She\u2019s available in Settings, where you can find a complete tutorial on gameplay, movements, and features. But be warned: she is armed with puns.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\"\"<\/span>

Sweat in Style: Avatars<\/span><\/h2>\n

This year, we welcomed even more customization into HOLOFIT: this time letting you sweat in style!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

HOLOFIT now lets you choose your look, gear up, and make every workout uniquely yours. Customize your look, clothing, footwear, and accessories, and start your workout.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We prepared a great selection of pieces for you, but keep your eye out for special seasonal items that you could unlock and add to your virtual wardrobe.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Take your fitness to the next level with avatars that fit YOU perfectly!<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\"\"<\/span>

Babylon Remastered<\/span><\/h2>\n

My personal favorite of this year\u2019s releases was the long-awaited overhaul of the legendary Babylon, one of the oldest HOLOworlds.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The sand settles, the wind dies down, and just ahead, the Ishtar Gate rises before you; a grand entrance adorned with gleaming blue and gold tiles, as vibrant as the stories of Babylon itself.<\/span><\/p>\n

When you step through the gate, the vibrant sights and sounds of Mushkenum City unfold.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The lively marketplace is full of unusual assortments of goods. Explore the vibrant streets, meet the city\u2019s fishmonger, the local poets, and jugglers, and maybe even get your next outfit from the renowned Babylonian seamstress.<\/span><\/p>\n

But Babylon has more secrets than meets the eye. As you wander deeper into the city, you\u2019ll find hidden party tunnels, where the music never stops, and the creatures lurking there are even wilder than the celebrations themselves.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Babylon Remaster is a trilogy: the first two parts are already out. While we wait for the third and final part, can you make sense of Ancient Babylon?<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\"\"<\/span>

What to Expect in 2025 from HOLOFIT<\/span><\/h2>\n

2024 was exciting, but 2025 is about to get a lot wilder! We\u2019re doubling down on interactivity, diving into exciting new customization options, and expanding our challenges and workout programs to make fitness more fun than ever. <\/span><\/p>\n
