The HOLOuniverse has once again expanded.

With the discovery of Primordia, our 19th HOLOworld, we don’t just open a new map, but a portal to the beginning of everything.

Buried deep beneath the surface lies a prehistoric realm. A place untouched by modern times. A world of towering ferns, tangled jungle paths, restless volcanoes, and creatures long thought extinct.

The Origins of Primordia

Primordia has long been whispered about among Holofitters. Requested. Anticipated.

Inspired by prehistoric legends like The Flintstones, The Land Before Time, and the subterranean adventure of Journey to the Center of the Earth, we now travel back — and down — to the heart of the HOLOuniverse.

Because, if you want to understand evolution… you start at the beginning.

The Antarctica Incident

Every great discovery begins with research…and an oopsie.

Some companies hire consultants. Holodia created an entire secret branch:

Deep within Antarctica’s secluded Forbidden Sector operates the highly classified Department of HOLOfitness and Research of Motivational Activities.

Yes. It’s real. (Probably.)

And their mission? To solve the ultimate question of fitness.

Was the answer 42? Was it a goldfish?

While the scientists may still be debating the mathematics of motivation, they did stumble upon something far more groundbreaking:

Primordia

A research lab has now been established inside the prehistoric ecosystem, though what exactly they’re studying remains classified…for now. You’ll get a chance to uncover parts of the lab in Chapter 2, and even more of the world in the final, Chapter 3.

Chapter 1: Beauty Before Chaos

Not everything is as dandy as finding the last dandelion of the season. Every uncharted territory has its dangers. This is exactly why we had to make sure Primordia was safe and fit for fitness before inviting you into this world, which is still revealing itself.

As you move through these new lands, beneath towering layers of lush greenery and canopies of giant ferns tangled in prehistoric vines, you get to row your way through crystal-clear waters, run across newly-formed caves, and bike through a kaleidoscope of butterflies.

Massive herbivores graze in slow, deliberate movements while predators observe, calculating their next move. But let’s focus on the herbivores! They seem so close, you could almost reach out and touch them.

When our team first explored Primordia, we had to resist the urge to pet everything in sight. Then the first impressions came in, and it turns out we weren’t far off. A calming dino-petting Combo Workouts task might be something worth looking into down the path.

Anyways, back to business. Primordia isn’t a museum frozen in time, but a functional ecosystem which you are now a part of. So be mindful. Don’t leave any trash behind, as you might stumble upon it again in the present, considering how long plastic takes to decompose.

And for the first time in HOLOFIT history, you’re not imagining dinosaurs from a safe distance or seeing them preserved in ice somewhere in Antarctica (sorry if this was a spoiler).

You are training beside them!

Breaking Beak Sky News

We received exclusive coverage from Breaking Beak Sky News’ top airborne correspondent, Flint Soarson.

The fearless pterodactyl has been circling Primordia, gathering first impressions mid-flight. His dispatch offers a first look at the terrain from above, and hints that something more lies beyond the jungle canopy.

Flint will return in Chapters 2 and 3 with further updates.

If he survives.

What comes next

After the dino egg comes…the dodo bird? Or is it the other way round?

Either way, two more chapters will unfold, expanding this HOLOworld far beyond its current boundaries. When complete, Primordia is planned to stretch to around 9km of rideable, explorable terrain.

You can expect:

  • Longer routes
  • Closer encounters
  • More adrenaline
  • More dinosaurs

Chapter 1 was immersion, but Chapters 2 and 3 are evolution.

Your turn now

As the volcano simmers and unseen eyes follow you from the jungle, what do you think lies deeper within Primordia?

More predators? Hidden ruins? Mini-games? Easter eggs?

And if you’ve explored Chapter 1, we’d love your support on the Meta Store. If Primordia made you sweat (or scream), rate us and let the world know.

The beginning is only the beginning!
