Did you know that you might be eligible to get HOLOFIT cost-free, depending on your health insurance provider?

It’s true! Some providers offer fitness reimbursements to their customers, meaning that you could be saving $.

How can you start with this process? How do you know whether your insurance covers fitness-related fees?

From country to country, state to state, and provider to provider, the terms will be different, although the overall process is similar. Let’s go over it!

How to get reimbursed for your fitness program

Getting reimbursed is easier than you think.

You could save not only on a subscription but also on various fitness equipment, like a stationary bike.

Here’s what you need:

  • The first and most important step is being a currently active fitness user. Your health insurance company can ask you to provide proof of your fitness-related payment

Let your provider know that HOLOFIT does business on a subscription model, and forward them your yearly or monthly subscription receipts as your proof of payment.

Additionally, they may ask for information about the fitness program. Feel free to use the information on our website as your source of information, and don’t hesitate to reach out to us if they happen to have any specific questions that you may not know the answers to.

  • Subscribing won’t be enough. To get reimbursed, you will need to meet the activity criteria set by your health insurance company.

Some health insurance companies have specific activity criteria. For most, you will need to meet a workout goal. Some may ask you to complete 12 workouts on a monthly basis, or a different amount on a yearly basis. Either way, failure to meet the goal will make you ineligible for reimbursement.

Luckily, HOLOFIT offers you a way to keep track of all your workouts!

With the HOLOFIT Companion App, you can not only keep track of your workouts, but follow your progress, keep yourself accountable with streaks, meet new friends, and see how your rank on the global leader board, country-specific leaderboard, and sport-specific leaderboard with the HOLOFIT Companion App.

You can find the HOLOFIT companion app on Google Play or the App Store and download it.

Does my health insurance company do fitness reimbursements?

The best way to find out what your insurance covers, is to contact them directly.

Since HOLOFIT is a VR Fitness program, your reimbursement will likely fall into the category of a gym membership or more specifically, an online gym membership program/virtual fitness.

Some, like the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts and United Healthcare offer various types of reimbursements.

Contact your insurance provider, give them the necessary information, and hear their feedback.
