Spring is the perfect time to start a fitness challenge or set new fitness goals! Not only will you feel better but also more energized to take advantage of all this season has to offer. This spring, our motto is:

Here are some of our favorite ways to spring clean our workout routine:
Revamp your workout space
Last year has been tough on all of us and it made us appreciate our homes even more. Faced with limited space due to work, having our youngest family members learning from home, home gyms… our designated areas tend to overlap.
While you deep clean the house you might want to rearrange things, move furniture around and once again divide the areas in your home for specific purposes!
When it comes to the home gym, the best advice we can give you is: Place it somewhere you can’t avoid it!
For example, if you have a stationary bike (stop using it as a coat rack!) get it as far away from your bed as possible! Trust us on this one… We all tried working from bed and know how unproductive that can get. The same applies for working out. You need a space that motivates you to be productive!
Move things around and see what works best for you!

Reset your training
Whether you`ve been an avid fitness enthusiast or leaned towards the couch potato mindset – stop and reassess.
Ask yourself these questions:
- What have you accomplished?
- What is your goal?
- How often do you want to workout?
- Are the exercises you`ve been doing still working for you?
- What can you do to improve?
Accomplishments and goals
Be in it for the long run – fitness should be a part of your life for decades to come!
Be consistent – set a workout routine and stick to it!
Monitor your health – nothing is worth it if you are not keeping track of your health and improving your immune system!
Don`t rush – it’s not a race! You are the only one participating in this fitness journey so make sure to enjoy it!
Focus on building habits, not results – it’s easy to get carried away and caught up in the results, but it’s the habits that lead to achievements!
Once again, aim to be consistent but realistic! This means assessing your fitness level and then slowly and gradually building up!
Don’t shy away from putting everything on paper. Take into account how much free time you have, how fixed your obligations are and add workouts to your busy schedule! Are you an early bird or a night owl?
If you feel energized after a session, why not start off your day with a workout? This way you`ll be ready to take on anything the day has to offer!
On the other hand, if exercising helps you rewind and relieves you of stress – do it in the afternoon or in the evening. No need to be a morning workout aficionado to get the best out of exercising!
Finally, when you figure out WHEN to exercise, you only need worry about the FREQUENCY.
Your workout schedule should cater to your needs, obligations and goals. Someone preparing for a marathon can`t go by with 2-3 workouts per week. On the other hand, a person who enjoys working out to keep in form and be active, doesn`t have to go overboard.
